The city of Columbus has plows out clearing snow and ice that fell yesterday.

Authorities are urging people not to travel unless necessary, to give plow crews time and space to clear the streets. Franklin County is under a Level 2 snow emergency. Delaware, Fairfield, Pickaway and Union counties were under a Level 3 emergency on Thursday evening, meaning roads are closed except to emergency personnel.
