Come Back Alive NGO spends $54 million on weapons for Ukrainian counter-offensive
The Come Back Alive (CBA) foundation spent UAH 2 billion ($54 million) from Feb. 1 through May 9 to help the Ukrainian army prepare for the summer counteroffensive, according to a CBA stated in a press release on July 3.
"We saved up our resources for a while in order to invest as efficiently as possible at a crucial moment," CBA said.

"And we did it. Each hryvnia of this 2 billion is the result of regular donations that people and businesses sent to the foundation's accounts outside of our other projects."
A total of 1,460 7.62 mm machine guns and 1,000 ATGL-L3 hand grenade launchers were purchased abroad for UAH 417.4 million ($11.3 million). The weapons were distributed to 40 units in cooperation with the General Staff.

Over UAH 335 million ($9.1 million) was spent on 2,542 drones of different types, including those with thermal imaging optics.
CBA bought 11,834 radio devices worth almost UAH 331 million ($9 million) and 2,306 thermal imagers worth over UAH 161 million ($4.4 million).
Ninety-three new pickup trucks were purchased for almost UAH 120 million ($3.25 million).
Additionally, thousands of auxiliary equipment was supplied to the army, including kilometers of cable, chargers, tablets, monitors, networking and sapper equipment.
The foundation raised UAH 5.7 billion ($150 million) in 2022.
