Comedian Jerry Seinfeld returning to Erie's Warner Theatre stage in 2023

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will perform May 18 on the stage of Erie's Warner Theatre.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., according to Erie Events. Prices are $175, $87.50 and $67.50. Tickets will be available at the Erie Insurance Arena box office, 809 French St.; by calling 814-452-4857; and at erieevents.com.

Seinfeld last performed at the Warner on Aug. 2, 2018, drawing a crowd of 2,194, according to information provided in 2018 by Erie Events. It was among the 15 top-attended Erie Events' concerts, festivals and other events that year.

He made his first appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson in 1981. Eight years later, he teamed up with fellow comedian Larry David to create the comedy series “Seinfeld” that ran on NBC for nine seasons, winning numerous Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards.

Seinfeld's latest Emmy-nominated Netflix projects include “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill,” along with the highly acclaimed web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”
