Comedian Jim Gaffigan bringing his ‘Barely Alive Tour’ to Berglund Center

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– Comedian Jim Gaffigan is ready to make Roanoke laugh! On Sept. 19, Gaffigan’s ‘Barely Alive Tour’ will be making a stop at the Berglund Center at 7:00 p.m.

Gaffigan is a top ten comedian according to Forbes’ most recent comedy list and a top ten earning comedian according to Pollstar. A seven-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, and producer, he is known around the world for his unique brand of humor which is largely based on his observations on life.

In 2021, Gaffigan released his 9th special ‘Comedy Monster,’ on Netflix which was nominated for a Grammy award. He was also recently awarded for being the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora.

In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical ‘The Jim Gaffigan Show,’ which he wrote and produced with his wife, Gaffigan regularly does comedic commentaries on CBS Sunday Morning for which he won 3 Emmys.

Presale tickets release Thursday, Feb. 29 at 10 a.m. Tickets then open up to the public on Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices for Gaffigan’s show range from $39.75-$149.75.
