Comedian John Mulaney to perform at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center later this year

Stand-up comedian John Mulaney, who released his fourth Netflix comedy special in April, is returning to Happy Valley later this year.
His solo tour is scheduled to hit Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3, according to announcements from both the Bryce Jordan Center and Live Nation. Tickets for the general public will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday. Prices were not immediately known.

Mulaney is a renowned comedian, actor, writer and producer. The 41-year-old Chicago native has hosted Saturday Night Live five times, and he began writing for SNL in 2008 by creating memorable characters such as Bill Hader’s “Stefon.”
He has released six comedy specials — four on Netflix, including “Baby J” earlier this year — and has appeared on Broadway, in addition to voicing animated characters such as Andrew on Netflix’s “Big Mouth” show. He has won two Emmys.
Mulaney most recently appeared in Happy Valley last fall, during his From Scratch 2022 Tour. The “John Mulaney in Concert 2023 Tour” will kick off Nov. 2 in Kingston, New York, before it’s scheduled to end on New Year’s Eve in Phoenix. (It’s unclear if more dates might be added.)
Mulaney will appear only twice in Pennsylvania, on Nov. 30 in Reading’s Santander Arena and on Dec. 3 in Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center.
