Comedian and commentator John Oliver is coming to Akron.

The host of "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" will take the stage at the Akron Civic Theatre on Oct. 11.

Tickets for the one-night show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com.

Prices range from $64.50 to $124.50.

Aside from his HBO gig, Oliver was a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" from 2006 to 2013 and voiced Zazu in the 2019 remake of Disney's "The Lion King."
