Comic-Con at sea: The Cruise will set sail in 2025 starting at $990

Comic-Con, but make it float.

San Diego Comic Convention has teamed up with Entertainment Cruise Productions to bring a version of the beloved convention and entertainment event to the high seas in 2025 with Comic-Con: The Cruise.

The full-ship charter will feature a range of programming including theme-night parties and cosplay events; trivia; panels and Q&A sessions; and meet and greets, with its talent lineup to be announced.

“Comic-Con is unrivaled in creating a community that brings people together for experiences you can’t find anywhere else,” Executive Director of Entertainment Cruise Productions Greg Laubach said in a Wednesday news release. “It’s what we love to do, and we have designed Comic-Con: The Cruise to be a one-of-a-kind ultimate fan adventure.”

When is Comic-Con: The cruise?

The cruise will sail Feb. 5-9, 2025, on Royal Caribbean International’s Serenade of the Seas ship, which can accommodate more than 2,100 guests at double occupancy.

Passengers will cruise round-trip from Tampa, Florida, to Cozumel, Mexico, with two days at sea.

Staterooms for Comic-Con: The Cruise start at $990 per person based on double occupancy, according to the release. The fare includes food and drinks such as coffee and tea, performances, parties and more.
