Who is coming to loanDepot park to face the Marlins in 2024? And when? Check out the schedule

While the Miami Marlins’ focus is on the present and their current chase for a playoff berth as the season resumes following the All-Star Break, fans can already start preparing for the 2024 season.

MLB released all 30 teams’ schedules for next season on Thursday.

Opening Day is March 28, and the Marlins will begin at loanDepot park with a seven-game homestand — four games against the Pittsburgh Pirates (March 28-31) and three against the Los Angeles Angels (April 1-3). It’s the fifth time in the past seven years the Marlins have begun the season at home.

The 162-game schedule follows the same format as this season, with every team facing each other at least once. Miami will play four series and 13 total games against each of its division opponents (the Braves, Phillies, Mets and Nationals), one home series and one road series against every other National League team, two home games and two road games against the Rays, and a three-game series — either home or away — against the other 14 American League teams.

The home and road contests for the AL teams alternate each year. In 2024, the Marlins will host the Angels, Rangers, Guardians, Mariners, Red Sox, White Sox and Orioles. They go on the road to play the Yankees, Athletics, Tigers, Royals, Astros, Twins and Blue Jays.

Some other notables from the schedule:

Miami has a season-long three-team, eight-game, 10-day homestand that runs from the end of May through early June against three AL teams: the Rangers (May 31-June 2), Rays (June 4-5) and Guardians (June 7-9).

The Marlins have just one three-city road trip next season, their first trip after the All-Star Break: July 26-28 at Milwaukee, July 30-31 at Tampa Bay and Aug. 1-4 at Atlanta.

Miami closes the season on the road against a pair of AL teams, facing the Twins Sept. 24-26 and the Blue Jays Sept. 27-29.

The Marlins play home games on Jackie Robinson Day (April 15 against the Giants), Mother’s Day (May 12 against the Phillies), Juneteenth (June 19 against the Cardinals) and Independence Day (July 4 against the Red Sox).
