'This Is Coming Right at Me!': Minnesota Twins' Jake Odorizzi Pitches at the Commentary Booth at Target Field

Minnesota Twins pitcher Jake Odorizzi may be out with a back injury, but he showed his arm is in good order as he tossed some balls from the field up to the commentary booth at an empty Target Field on Sunday, July 26.

This video shows commentator and Twins legend Dan Gladden encouraging Odorizzi to throw some balls his way as Gladden’s commentary partner Cory Provus⁩ describes the unusual action. After a couple of near misses, Odorizzi lands a ball in the booth near Provus⁩, who says, “Look out, this is coming right at me!”

The Minnesota Twins last week placed Odorizzi on the 10-day injured list due to mild soreness in his upper back.
