MILTON – Milton Community Concerts will present “Sharing Ourselves, Reuniting Our Voice: Music by Carol Koffinke” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at First Parish of Milton, 535 Canton Ave. South Shore choral singers under the direction of Karen Harvey and Timothy Steele will join soloists Angela Yam, Alexandra Dietrich, David Rivera Bozon and Keith Eric Brinkley, as well as violinist Betsy Hinkle. WEYMOUTH – The Southeastern Philharmonic Orchestra joins the Weymouth High School Music Department at Chapman Middle School, 1051 Commercial St., for a free concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6. Donations for the Weymouth Food Pantry will be accepted. Leading the concert are Southeastern Philharmonic Orchestra conductor Michael Bednarsky and Weymouth High School Music Department Director Kathleen Kenny. Braintree to hold flu shot clinic Tuesday

BRAINTREE – The board of health will hold a seasonal flu vaccination clinic for residents age 18 and older from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the Cahill Auditorium of town hall, 1 John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive. The shots will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis and those attending the clinic are asked to bring their health insurance cards. Veterans Appreciation events to take place in Abington

ABINGTON – The town will hold its annual Veterans Appreciation Celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the council on aging, 441 Summer St. Local community groups and nonprofits will be available to speak with veterans about the resources available to them. Exhibit of work by photographer, painter on display in Quincy

QUINCY – The Quincy Art Association and the Quincy Arts Gallery will exhibit "Roads Well Travelled" with works by photographer Alice Donaldson and oil painter and portraitist David Wang through Dec. 11 at 1229 Hancock St. A reception will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the same location. The gallery is open from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. weekends.

QUINCY – The Quincy Symphony Orchestra will give its first of three classical concerts for the 2022-23 season at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Quincy High School’s Lloyd Hill Auditorium, 100 Coddington St. Soloist Sarita Kwok will perform Max Bruch’s violin concerto under the baton of Music Director Yoichi Udagawa. Plymouth Education Foundation to host 'storm-chasing weather nerd'

PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth Education Foundation will host the talk “An Evening with Matthew Cappucci: A Storm-Chasing Weather Nerd" starting at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Plymouth South High School, 490 Long Pond Road. Cappucci, a Plymouth native, will talk about chasing thunderstorms and capturing lightning bolts on film. The Plymouth Education Foundation awarded then 14-year-old Cappucci a grant to present at the American Meteorological Society, making him the youngest-ever presenter at the annual event.
