Snug Harbor Community Chorus seeks new members
DUXBURY – Snug Harbor Community Chorus will hold its first rehearsal of the holiday concert season at 6:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the Pilgrim Church of Duxbury, 404 Washington St. Everyone is welcome to join and dues are $70 per season. Rehearsals are held on Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. The holiday concert will take place Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center, 73 Alden St. For more information, visit snugharborcc.org.

Open rehearsals, auditions for Pilgrim Festival Chorus to begin Sept. 12
PLYMOUTH – Pilgrim Festival Chorus invites singers to its open rehearsals and auditions at 6:30 p.m. Monday, beginning Sept. 12, at the Faith Community Church, 29 Carver Road. The chorus is the region's volunteer, not-for-profit community choral ensemble. New members of all skill levels are welcome to audition. AMC to host Fallfest at Wompatuck State Park
HINGHAM – The southeastern Massachusetts chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club will host Fallfest Open House from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Wompatuck State Park, 204 Union St. There will be hiking, biking and trail work trips with the Appalachian Mountain Club from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Bike rides will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. There will be sessions where attendees can learn how to change a tire, learn about navigation, learn how to clean bikes and find out what to bring on a bike ride. Information will also be available about invasive plants and tips for first-time hikers. Free.

Theater company to perform at senior center
MARSHFIELD – Delvena Theatre Company will perform "A Cup of Tea, A Crumpet and a Gas Mask" at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at the Marshfield Senior Center, 230 Webster St. The show is a comedy set during the World War II London Blitz. The show will feature Lynne Moulton and Fran Baron as Margaret Rutherford and Mrs. Henderson, respectively. For more information, call 781-834-5581.
