Actors to portray John and Abigail Adams in Quincy

Last concert of the season Saturday at Weir River Farm
HINGHAM – Weir River Farm will host its final outdoor concert of the summer, "Blues at the Farm," from 3 p.m. to dusk Saturday, Oct. 8, at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. Pianist Anthony Geraci and vocalist Billy Price, both award-winning blues artists, headline the event, which will open with the Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo. Genealogy Society to hold meeting at Hanover library

Kingston art exhibit focuses on work of seniors
KINGSTON – The Kingston Public Library will present the exhibit "Senior Center Selections – Work from the Class of Violet Barry" throughout October. Barry returned to teaching after a long career as a portrait painter and stained-glass artist, this time sharing her skills and knowledge with a new group of students: senior citizens. Awareness day walk for PANS/PANDAS set for Oct. 9 in Hull
HULL – The New England PANS/PANDAS Association will hold its Awareness Day Walk from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Oct. 9, along Nantasket Beach starting at the bathhouse, 230 Nantasket Ave. PANS or PANDAS is a life-altering, pediatric autoimmune disorder. RANDOLPH – The Turner Free Library now has an acoustic meeting pod and outdoor lockers for 24/7 pickup of library materials. The lockers offer easy access to materials around the clock and the meeting pod provides a private space to work and study. To request books, movies and music be placed in the lockers for pickup, select "Randolph Hold Locker" as the pickup location through your Old Colony Library Network account or contact library staff.
