Coming Soon: Reese’s New Halloween Cereal

Just because you’re a little too old to go trick or treating without getting strange looks from the costumed kids and the adults handing out candy, doesn’t mean that you should miss out on Halloween treats. Luckily, Reese’s is bringing back its Halloween-themed cereal that is good for anyone who wants a sweet bite, no costume required.

While eating candy for breakfast is generally frowned upon, Reese’s came up with the next best thing—Reese’s Peanut Butter Puffs Bats. Like the brand’s Peanut Butter Cups and Pieces, the cereal combines peanut butter and chocolate into a tasty snack. Specifically, the cereal is made with whole grain corn, real Reese’s peanut butter and Hershey’s Cocoa, meaning anyone with a sweet tooth now has a delicious, seasonal option for the first meal of the day. Plus, the bat-themed, Halloween breakfast cereal has no artificial flavors, colors, or high fructose corn syrup, and is vegan. That pretty much makes it health food—or at least a lot easier to justify as a breakfast choice than the alternative, which is dumping a whole bunch of Reese’s Pieces in a bowl and shoveling them in with a spoon.

Reese’s Puffs Bats are only available in the cereal aisle for a limited amount of time, along with those other favorite spooky cereals, Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry. You can stock up on the new Halloween cereal starting in October 2019, or whenever your local grocery store starts selling seasonal treats.
