Jersey Mike's Subs is opening soon in Williston.

The first Vermont location of the sub sandwich franchise will be located at 69 Market St. in Williston, just down the road from Healthy Living and across from the new L.L. Bean location.

Jersey Mike's offers cold and hot subs, salads, chips, drinks and desserts. It was started on the Jersey Shore in 1956 now has 2,199 locations nationwide with 272 locations opening soon.

Jersey Mike's will be located near the new L.L. Bean in Williston. The sub sandwich shop will open in four to six months.

When contacted by phone, Jersey Mike's representative Michael Nenna said because construction has not yet begun, it will four to six months before the store opens.
