The Commish's gambling picks are in for the NFL divisional round

Betting favorites dominated the NFL wild card round as five of six covered the spread.

All four playoffs games this weekend will be played outdoors and each has a projected point total between 47 and 54 points.

Since 2003, taking the under in NFL playoff games with a projected total between 47 and 56 has finished with a record of 48-36-2. The success rate in taking the under improves even more in games played in outdoor stadiums, finishing with a record of 37-20-2.

This week’s picks

TITANS (-3.5) vs. Bengals: Many have questioned whether the Titans are deserving of the top seed in the AFC. They have beaten four of the remaining playoff teams and will benefit from the return of running back Derrick Henry. The defensive front of the Bengals is banged up and allowed the Raiders to march up and down the field last week. Look for the Titans to get pressure on quarterback Joe Burrow and end the Cinderella season of the Bengals.

UNDER (47) 49ers at Packers: The tundra will definitely be frozen in Green Bay with temperatures expected to be in the single digits, so that will have an impact on scoring. Look for field position to be the focus of both teams, resulting in this score coming in below the projected total.

RAMS (+3) at Buccaneers: Last weekend, Matt Stafford finally logged his first playoff win while Tom Brady exposed the Eagles as a team that didn’t belong in the playoffs. This week, a lack of offensive weapons and a banged-up offensive line will finally catch up with Brady. Look for the Rams to end his quest for an eighth Super Bowl title.

BILLS (+2) at Chiefs: Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen established himself as the most dangerous weapon in the NFL last week with his dominant win over a Bill Belichick defense. This line doesn’t make much sense when you consider the blowout win by the Bills at Kansas City earlier in the year. Perhaps take the Bills on the money line to maximize winnings.

OVER (84.5) combined rushing and receiving yards (-115) by Devin Singletary - Bills at Chiefs: Singletary has emerged as a serious offensive weapon and has eclipsed this total in five out of his last six games.
