Friend of the Court payment options expanded

ADRIAN — In the past, Lenawee County’s Friend of the Court limited itself to only taking cash payments with a court order. This policy has changed, and any payor may now make cash payments at the Friend of the Court window, an announcement from Lenawee County said. Cash payments must be in the exact amount.

“This will help child support payors as it offers them an opportunity to pay child support without an additional fee that other options impose,” the county said in its announcement.

Lenawee County’s Friend of the Court is in the basement of the Rex B Martin Judicial Building in Adrian, 425 N. Main St.
