RWWTP - Joint Use Board: The Village of Ruidoso RWWTP Joint Use Board will meet at 10 a.m. Jan. 19 at Village Hall, 313 Cree Meadows Drive in Ruidoso. The meeting will be streamed on YouTube at

DNA Presentation: "Understanding and Utilizing Your DNA Test Results" will be presented by genetic genealogist Terry Lasky in two parts at ENMU-Ruidoso, 709 Mechum Dr. "Part 1: Understanding Your DNA & Ethnicity Results" will be presented Saturday, January 29, 2022, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. "Part 2: Using Your DNA Results to Determine Relationships" will be presented on Saturday, February 5, 2022, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Free to the public. FRWLC: The FRWLC will meet on Jan. 24 (11 a.m.) not Jan. 14 as previously listed. We meet on the 4th Monday of each month (11 a.m.) at K-Bob’s.

Lodger's Tax Committee: Notice is hereby given that the Lincoln County Lodger’s Tax Committee meeting scheduled for Dec. 28, 2021 was cancelled due to lack of agenda items. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Jan. 25, 2022.

Free wifi: The Tularosa Basin Telephone Company/Tularosa Communications, Inc. partnered with businesses in each community to bring students free WiFi hotpots beginning Aug. 5 at the Ruidoso First National Bank, eat lot. We will announce each location as the service is enabled, but anticipate having one in Alamogordo, Ruidoso, Cloudcroft, Tularosa, and Carrizozo.

Siren testing: The Village of Ruidoso Fire Department tests the sirens on the 1st and 15th of every month at 5 p.m.
