Beyond the Bump: Growing Together, 5-6 p.m., Community Memorial Hospital. This is the third of an eight-week class that will empower and educate moms through the beginning stages of motherhood. Topics covered will include: introducing solids, what to expect during teething, returning to exercise and the importance of pelvic health, and managing expectations and mental health. Pumpkin Run and Walk, 9:30 a.m., Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. The FDLTCC Child Development program's Miskwaadesi Head Start Project hosts the 18th annual Pumpkin Run and Walk, featuring a new option called the Ring Road Fun Run. The Ring Road Fun Run covers a single lap of the FDLTCC campus and kicks off at 9:30 a.m. The 5K starts and ends on campus and will kick off at 10 a.m. The cost is $25 per person, with special rates available if submitted before Oct. 15.
