Community Career Fair is Aug. 31 at the Timken Career Campus
CANTON – The Pro Football Hall of Fame, Black College Football Hall of Fame, OhioMeansJobs of Stark and Tuscarawas Counties, Stark Tuscarawas Workforce Development Board and Strengthening Stark will host the Community Career Fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 31 at the Timken Career Campus, 521 Tuscarawas St. W, as part of the annual Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic.The Career Fair will feature local employers who are in high-demand industries, promote growth opportunities, have hiring wages minimally starting at $16.50 per hour and strive to support and engage adiverse workplace, according to a news release.
Some employers will do interviews onsite and have the ability to make offers on the spot. There will be several community-serving entities at the event, such as the Urban League, Goodwill and ICAN.
