Mar. 22—After a three year COVID shut down, the Columbia Falls Community Choir is working hard and preparing for their Spring Concert. This concert will be presented at the Columbia Falls High School Little Theatre on Saturday, April 15th at 7 p.m. The performance will feature traditional choral music as well as songs you will want to sing along to. Lord of the Dance by John Rutter has a familiar melody with some surprising harmonies. The choir will be accompanied by Oboist Luci Yeats on the selection The World of Our Dreams, and will also feature soloist Craig Blair. Songs to make you want to sing-a-long include Sunny Side of the Street, Over the Rainbow, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, and a Beatles medley titled Can't Buy Me Love. Soloists Diana Washburn and Marc Connelly will share their talents in the energetic spiritual Shout Glory! The 50 voice choir is under the direction of Steven Holte and will be accompanied by Jordan Neiman. A free will offering will be accepted.
