Community Foundation add trustees, picks new chair

Oct. 24—The Community Foundation of Frederick County on Friday announced five new members of the Board of Trustees.

The new trustees are Joshua Donofry, Angela Dredden, Christopher Hesen, Abbie Ricketts, and David Weigelt.

Also, current board member Beatrice Reaver will be the new chair, according to a news release from the nonprofit.

Reaver has served on the nonprofit's Board of Trustees since 2020.

Reaver was previously the human resources director for the Emmitsburg Glass Company. She was also a board member for the Mother Seton School and Hood College.

Donofry, like Reaver, has served on the foundation's Investments Committee for two years. He is a portfolio manager with RS Will Wealth Management and is an adjunct professor at Hood College.

Dredden is the senior manager of volunteers and donor relations with Hospice of Washington County.

Hesen is an executive vice president and regional president for Middletown Valley Bank.

Ricketts is a retired business owner. She has served on the Community Foundation's Grants Committee for six years.

Weigelt works in the marketing industry and works with C12 Maryland, an organization that tries to help faith-based business leaders succeed.
