The Community Foundation for Crawford County announces scholarship winners
The Community Foundation for Crawford County recently awarded more than $206,000 in scholarships to both graduating seniors and current college students.
“These results are from 34 of the 37 scholarship funds held here at the Foundation," explained President Lisa Workman. "Of the 122 individual scholarships awarded, $88,000, or roughly 42%, went to college students and 34 of them were renewals. We are thrilled to see that college students from Crawford County still apply for our scholarships and hope that keeping their college debt down will also help prevent drop-out.”

“Many of our scholarships are renewable throughout the college student’s academic career, but an applicant must apply each year and be chosen in order to receive the award," said Rachel Jarvis, the Foundation's program and office manager.
