Community helps out Turlock garden after $1,300 worth in tools stolen

About $1,300 worth of gardening tools were stolen from the Turlock Community Gardens, according to co-founder Jonathan Partridge. That spurred people to come in and help out. Items such as pick axes, shovels, and weedwhackers were taken after a shed was broken into over the weekend. Beyond the rows of greens, flowers and pepper is the hard work that volunteer gardeners have sowed into the gardens.
