Since 2017, a community-led task force has made recommendations to the board of education that have resulted in phase 1 middle school renovations, completed during the summer of 2021, and most recently phase 2 recommendations which will include major renovations and replacements at both Thomas Worthington and Worthington Kilbourne high schools.

Voters approved two tax issues Nov. 8 that make the improvements possible.
