Community mourns sudden death of Fall River student

A local family and their community are left mourning after a beloved young girl died unexpectedly last week. Destiny, 9 years old and a third grade student at John J. Doran Community School, suffered a severe asthma attack and died at her family’s Fall River home on Thanksgiving. Read more on this story here.
Students at Atlantis Charter School are getting a lesson in entrepreneurship and technology as they run a school store selling items they made themselves using 3D printers. Those in the STEM pathway are using the school’s 3D printing lab to create products, while business students are working on signs and marketing tactics for a store that’s open during lunch periods and after school.
