FREMONT - ProMedica Memorial Hospital announced it has earned an A Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog that sets standards for excellence in patient care.

Leapfrog assigns an A, B, C, D or F grade to general hospitals across the country based on more than 30 national performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.

“On behalf of all our dedicated employees at Memorial Hospital, I am honored that we have a proven track record of delivering safe, high quality care to the patients and families that we serve, and we are very pleased to have received an A from Leapfrog Hospital Safety,” said Jodi Rucker, president, VP of patient care services and CNO, Memorial Hospital.
