Rojas joins ProMedica Memorial

FREMONT- ProMedica Memorial Hospital welcomes Alexandra Rojas, CNP, who will join Fremont Internal Meds/Pediatrics.

Rojas began her medical career in high school, volunteering at MH, and then continued her education at the University of Toledo where she obtained her bachelor of science in nursing and master of science in nursing. Alexandra now holds over 600 hours of clinical experience with John J. Hiestand, MD, and Iracema Arevalo, MD, both in Fremont.

Previously, she was an acute care RN at MH for more than eight years. Rojas is bilingual in Spanish so she can cater to the Spanish-speaking patients.

“I am so honored to have been able to serve my community, and I am so excited to be able to continue to serve my community in this new role as a Certified Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Family Practice,” she said.

Kyle Krotzer, another long time nurse at MH, has been a CNP for about the past four years – two of which he worked as a primary care provider with Jill Badik, DO, in Fostoria. Krotzer has transitioned into a hospitalist-type role. He has been with ProMedica for more than 14 years.

“It takes a lot of determination to work full time providing quality care to our patients, earn those degrees and raise families, all at the same time!” says Kelly Shirer, director, operations for PPG, adding they’re both very well liked and are very deserving of recognition.
