Brunswick Habitat for Humanity names board president
Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity named Jason Gaver as its new board president.
Gaver is a husband, father, Christian and veteran who calls Brunswick County home after relocating from Washington, DC, with his wife, Tiffany, a Winnabow native.
He is a former small business owner in Brunswick County and has served in various leadership capacities at the national and local level.

Thomas Construction Group hires director
Wilmington-based Thomas Construction Group LLC announce the recent hiring of Mike Pritt as a preconstruction director. Pritt joins Thomas with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry and has a proven record of producing accurate budgets, implementing management processes, and building teams.

Since joining the team, Pritt has been splitting his time between Thomas’ headquarters in Wilmingtonand the Raleigh area, where he resides with his family.
Joann Kimball joins Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage
Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage welcomes Joann Kimball to the Southport office.
Being raised in the Southport area, Kimball is well known there. Alongside her husband, Brian, a licensed general contractor, they operate a residential construction firm. Along with offering professional assistance with building and purchasing custom homes, she also assists clients with residential resales and commercial interests across Brunswick and New Hanover counties.
Kimball’s background also includes working as the co-owner of Loco Jo’s Bar & Grill in Southport.
CORA Health Services hires chief executive officer
CORA Health Services Inc., doing business as CORA Physical Therapy, a national operator of outpatient physical therapy clinics, announced the appointment of Kurt M. Baumgartel, MPT as chief executive officer.

Baumgartel is a seasoned health care executive with more than 20 years of experience building and scaling health care businesses and is known for identifying and executing on strategic growth opportunities, enhancing operations, improving profitability and empowering people to succeed. He succeeds Dennis R. Smith, CORA’s former CEO, who retired earlier this year.
Baumgartel’s most recent role was executive vice president for Home-Based Care at Compassus. Baumgartel also practiced as a physical therapist after having received his master’s in physical therapy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage tabs community specialist
Tracel Wilt has joined Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, Thirty4 North Properties team as an onsite community specialist at The Sanctuary at Forest Sound in Hampstead.
Wilt is a real estate veteran who has consistently earned awards for her sales production. She excelled by transitioning the skills she acquired from a highly successful, 20-year career as an executive sales professional in healthcare/molecular diagnostics.
A resident of North Carolina for over 25 years, Wilt served at Fort Bragg as an Army Transportation Officer after earning her degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Having also lived in California, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she enjoys sharing her firsthand experiences with relocating to help her clients successfully transition into their new community and obtain the highest possible return on their investment.
