Companies to Watch: DoorDash suffers data breach, Micron disappoints, Fox and DISH at odds

Here are the companies the Yahoo Finance team is watching for you today.

There’s been a major data breach at DoorDash. The delivery company says the personal information of 4.9 million customers, drivers and businesses was stolen in a hack. It happened back in May, but the company only realized it earlier this month. DoorDash says they took immediate steps to enhance security.

Shares of Micron Technology (MU) are getting slammed after the memory-chip maker reported another big drop in earnings and predicted a disappointing holiday season. Micron has struggled to bounce back from plunging demand for its memory products and rising prices.

Dish Network (DISH) and Fox (FOX) are feuding over a new contract, leaving customers without access to a number of cable channels and local stations carried by the satellite-television operator. Fox is claiming Dish pulled the programming as a negotiating tactic, but Dish says the content provider blocked the channels from the satellite provider.

Tesla's (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk says the company 'has a shot' at delivering 100,000 cars this quarter, according to an email obtained by Electrek. This would be a new record for the electric car company, after it smashed its global record last quarter with over 95,000 deliveries.

Boeing's (BA) CEO Dennis Muilenburg has agreed to testify before a House committee next month. He'll be facing questions over the 737 Max crisis. Meantime, federal investigators are asking for changes in pilot emergency responses. The NTIS says that Boeing overestimated pilots ability to handle an overload of alerts on the two doomed Max 737 jets. They're recommending a number of aircraft safety assessments.
