This Company Will Pay You $33,000 a Year to Test Mattresses Full-Time
If laying in bed and watching Netflix sounds like your idea of a good time, then we've found the job for you. Bespoke mattress company Crafted Beds is looking for a "Netflix and nap fanatic" to join their team as a professional mattress tester. And yes, this is a paid position!
If hired, the tester will receive £24,000 (that's approximately $33,000) a year for 37.5 working hours a week. During that time, the lucky applicant will spend their days Netflix-ing and napping to assess how comfortable the brand's mattresses are. "To ensure we’re providing our customers with only the best beds that will give them an excellent quality look and sleep, we’re hiring a mattress tester to join our team," says the company. But don't nap too much! You will be expected to provide an extensive review of each mattress to let the company "know whether you believe the quality is high enough to distribute."
While the position is fully remote, applicants must be based in the UK and be over the age of 18. The company also asks that each mattress be tested and reviewed alone.
