Company seeks 'luxury product tester' to travel the world reviewing private jets, islands and jewellery

A UK company is offering job-seekers the chance to apply for what they've called the “world’s best job”.

Hush Hush, a London-based luxury marketplace that sells items such as private jets, cars, and jewellery, is currently accepting applications for a "luxury product tester".

The future employee will be tasked with reviewing products aimed at high-end customers before they are offered to the public.

According to Hush Hush, this means trying out items such as a £55m ($71m) jewel-encrusted watch, a £47m ($61m) superyacht, or a £62m ($80m) French chateau to make sure they’re up to consumer standards.

The role also requires extensive travel, meaning applicants must be prepared to spend a significant amount of time travelling to “review private islands and properties for sale around the world”.

The job comes with an additional annual salary of £75,000 ($97,000).

Once each product is tested for style, comfort, performance, and sustainability, the future luxury product tester will be expected to produce a report on each one.

Apart from a passion for “travel, art, and fashion” and writing capabilities, candidates must also be “discreet, sociable, and eloquent,” as they will be the point of communication with trusted suppliers.

For those who are over 18 and consider being paid while testing luxury cars, fashion, private islands and jets to constitute the perfect job, you can apply here.

Applications will be accepted until the end of February.
