It wasn't long ago that the NFL thought the Buffalo Bills were barely worthy of one primetime game in back-to-back seasons. The Bills went seven years from 2000 to 2007 without a Monday Night Football game. In 2018, one year removed from ending a 17-year playoff drought, Buffalo played 15 of its 16 games at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Now they're popular on the big stage.

Buffalo hosts the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football. It's the Bills' second straight primetime game to start the 2022 season. Buffalo routed the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams 31-10 to open the NFL season on Thursday Night Football on Sept. 8. That game drew 21.3 million viewers despite, second most in Week 1, despite the blowout.

Buffalo also plays three more night games and a Thanksgiving game this year. The Bills host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football on NBC in Week 8, travels to New England on Thursday Night Football on Prime Video in Week 13, and plays at Cincinnati on Monday Night Football on ESPN/ABC in Week 17. The Bills play at Detroit at 12:30 p.m. on CBS on Thanksgiving in Week 12.

Buffalo went 2-1 in primetime regular season games last year. The Bills won both of their Monday Night Football games in 2020, ending a seven-game losing streak that dated back to the beginning of the century.
