The White Marlin Open kicks off in 2022 on August 8 as hundreds of boats compete for millions of dollars in prize money.
The white marlins are the big prize, though blue marlins, tuna, dolphin and wahoo are on the table as well. The tournament added a swordfish category this year after the Maryland Department of Natural Resources implemented restrictions on shortfin mako shark fishing.
