Concerts in the Park, return Wednesday at Stockton's Victory Park
Concerts in the Park are back this summer starting.
Starting Wednesday weekly through August, head over to Victory Park in Stockton and enjoy one of 12 concerts scheduled this summer.
According to Stockton Concerts in Victory Park Facebook, the concert series first began by the Stockton Musicians Association Local #189 and the city of Stockton in 1952. Now, more than seven decades later the nonprofit Stockton Concerts in Victory Park Corp., continues bringing free concerts to the community.
The “Summit Band” will be kicking off the Concerts in the Park series at 6 p.m. Wednesday. If you can't make this series, there's more across the Valley to enjoy.
So, grab your blankets, lawn chairs and picnics and enjoy live music of all genres.
