Concerts this week include Medora Christmas Memories, Sherwin and Pam Linton: Out & About top 5

Northern State University winter choral concert: Tonight at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 318 S. Kline St. Concert features performances by the NSU Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and the Early Music Ensemble. There is no cost to attend, but free-will donations will be collected.

The Sherwin and Pam Linton Christmas Show: Tonight at 7 p.m. at the Hub City Station Event Center, 1923 Sixth Ave. S.E. Suite 104.

Receptions for senior art exhibits: 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Northern State University Johnson Fine Arts Center, room 106. Both senior art exhibits are on display through Dec. 18. The theme of Greime's exhibit is “More than a Body.” It consists of digital illustrations that aim to deconstruct societal gender norms, beauty standards and the sexual objectification of women. The theme of Stadel's exhibit is "Life, Death and In Between."

North Area Honor Band Concert: Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Johnson Fine Arts Center at Northern State University. Approximately 100 students from 23 schools in the region will participate in the Honor Band. Area participating schools include: Aberdeen Central, Aberdeen Christian, Aberdeen Roncalli, Bowdle, Eureka, Gettysburg, Groton Area, Herreid, Hoven, Ipswich Langford, Leola, Northwestern Area and Selby Area. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Medora Christmas Memories Show: Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Northern State University Johnson Fine Arts Center. Sponsored by Aberdeen Community Concerts, this show is a fundraiser for bringing family-friendly community concerts to Aberdeen. The show features Bill Sorensen, the longtime host of the Medora Musical, which he developed in 2014. Sorensen, who brings his own brand of humor and magic to the show, will be joined by talented musicians and tour favorites Emily Walter, Travis Smith, Amberly Rosen, Misti Koop, along with newcomers The Waddington Brothers and Magician Colin Zasadny for a new show ringing with variety and packed with holiday spirit. Tickets are available at Interior Design Concepts, 21 N. Main St. and www.aberdeencommunityconcers.org. Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for students.

Live Christmas Clue: Registration begins Monday and continues through Dec. 26 for this interactive family program at K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library. Groups of 2-6 are allowed for 45-minute time slots beginning Dec. 27-31 and continuing Jan. 3-8. Participants will become a character in a life-size version of the board game Clue and race other suspects to discover who killed Mr. Boddy of Tudor Mansion.
