Here are the top stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. In all of the world, Condé Nast Traveler magazine has named Scottsdale "one of the top nine travel destinations in the world." Editor Rebecca Misner said that she comes to Scottsdale when she "can't take another minute of winter." The report named award-winning resorts like Biltmore Sanctuary and destinations such as the Botanical Gardens. The list of nine also included Puebla, Mexico; Svalbard, Norway; and Goa, India. (Scottsdale Patch)

  2. The Greenburg's were cleared of illegal activity concerning files they kept on various constituents. According to reporting in the Scottsdale Independent, SUSD Board President Jann-Michael Greenburg and his father, Mark, "were behind a Google Drive containing various images, documents, and memes." The report claims that all of the content was from publicly- sourced documents, and there was no evidence of stalking or cyberstalking. (Your Valley)

  3. Cala and noted culinary expert Chef BeauMac are coming to Old Town. According to reporting in AZ Central, Cala will open on Jan. 21 on the first floor of the new Senna House hotel. Beau MacMillan comes from the Sanctuary and Elements and has appeared on several Food Network programs. In the report, Chef Beaumac said, "Expect coastal Mediterranean food from Greece, Italy, Spain, and Morocco, with a menu that's 'adult-driven for the Old Town vibe.'" (AZ Central)
