Condado Tacos to take former IHOP location at McCandless Crossing

A relatively high-profile vacancy at McCandless Crossing will not sit empty for long.

After recently opening its latest restaurant in the region in Cranberry Township, Condado Tacos is preparing to open a second location in Pittsburgh’s north suburbs at McCandless Crossing, the mixed-use development along McKnight Road.

The Columbus-based restaurant chain is committed to taking the former IHOP location that operated for a little more than 10 years in front of the Lowe’s Home Improvement store before recently closing.

The company confirmed the new location, which will be the sixth for Condado in the region.

Condado is shooting to open its new McCandless Crossing location next spring.
