Confirmed Tornado Uproots Trees, Scatters Debris in Ocala

A confirmed tornado in central Florida uprooted trees and blocked roadways on Monday, April 20.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for Marion County, including the city of Ocala, until 10.45 am Monday.

The NWS reported a confirmed tornado in Ocala with an estimated wind peak of 85 mph. The storm lifted a construction trailer and snapped numerous trees, according to the NWS.
