Jan. 26—WENATCHEE — Kelly Allen has been named as the chief nursing officer for the Confluence Health system. She has been working as the assistant to the CNO for about a year, according to a statement from Confluence.

She replaces Tracey Kasnic, who has been named vice president of special programs.

Allen has worked at Confluence Health for six years, five years as director of urgent/emergent services.

Kasnic has worked for Confluence Health for 24 years; she has a combined experience of more than 20 years as CNO and as a vice president of patient care services, according to the statement.

Chief Executive Officer Andrew Jones wrote that Kasnic has been an important part of the organization's success, citing her work during the COVID-19 pandemic, among other things.

"We are excited to have her bring this expertise into tackling important strategic work, in particular our efforts to build up our nursing program and find innovative solutions to improve patient care," he wrote.

Allen will be replaced in her former job by Deb Glenn, who will continue as Confluence post-anesthesia care manager as well.
