Contractors Board of Directors

Robinson & Cole construction group chairman Gregory R. Faulkner has been appointed to the board of directors of the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut.

Faulkner will serve two three-year board terms, representing commercial construction entities throughout the state.

Serving as local, national and international counsel for the past 25 years, Faulkner has worked in selection of project delivery, preparation of bid documents, requests for proposals and qualifications, contract drafting and negotiations. He handles litigation in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and mediation.

Established in 1947, AGCCT is the building division of the Connecticut Construction Industry Association, representing 150 commercial, industrial, and institutional construction entities.

Lawyer Scott Wofsy Named

Litigation Counsel Fellow

Locke Lord managing partner Scott Wofsy has been named a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

Working out of Locke Lord's Stamford office, Wofsy is a member of the firm’s board of directors and co-chairman of the patent strategies practice group. For nearly 30 years, he has advised clients in the medical device and aerospace industries, covering patent prosecution, litigation and licensing, with a focus on mechanical devices and systems.

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society with membership of less than 0.5 percent of American lawyers. Fellows are selected based on accomplishment and ethical reputation.

In addition to Wofsy, five other Locke Lord lawyers hold the distinction of being a fellow in the society, including chairman emeritus Jerry Clements and Locke Lord partners Thomas Cunningham, Richard Glovsky, Elizabeth Mack and Steve Whitmer.
