Connecticut Restaurant Association honors myriad of individuals, eateries across the state. Did your local spot make the list?

Jacques Pépin, the internationally known French chef who lives in Madison, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the CRAzies, the Connecticut Restaurant Association’s annual ceremony honoring outstanding achievement in the state’s hospitality industries.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was announced on Tuesday, along with other honorees and nominees for the CRAzies.

New inductees into the Connecticut Hospitality Hall of Fame, which honors the state’s most beloved, long-running restaurants, are Sally’s Apizza of New Haven and Blackie’s Hot Dogs of Cheshire.

Restaurateurs of the Year are Phil Barnett and Mike Hamlin, owners of Hartford Restaurant Group, which owns 10 Wood-n-Taps in the state, along with Que Whiskey Kitchen of Southington.

The rest of the award winners — nominees in these categories also were unveiled on Tuesday — will be announced Dec. 5, at a gala ceremony at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Members of the public can vote on their favorite nominees. The voting deadline is Nov. 30. To vote, visit craziesawards.com.

Chef of the Year: David DiStasi from Materia Ristorante in Bantam, Jared Falco from Rosina’s in Greenwich, Jared Sippel from L’Ostal in Darien, David Standridge from Shipwright’s Daughter in Mystic and Renee Touponce from Oyster Club in Mystic.

Baker of the Year: Kevin Masse from Small State Provisions in West Hartford, Pierluigi Mazzella from Fatto a Mano in Monroe, Selene Tepatzi from Atticus Bakery in New Haven, David Vacca from Nana’s Bakery & Pizza in Mystic and Rob VanKeuren from Flour Water Salt Bread in Darien.

Bartender of the Year: Sebastian Guerrero from The Port of Call in Mystic, Raasikh Muhammad Joseph from Anchor Spa in New Haven, Juan Meyer from Rosina’s in Greenwich, Jamie Oakes from Millwright’s in Simsbury and Dimitrios Zahariadis from Viron Rondo Osteria in Cheshire.

Server of the Year: Lamott Britto from Grano Arso in Chester, Melissa Cannon from Restaurant Bricco in West Hartford, Christopher Hodson from Materia Ristorante in Bantam, Jess Saunders from Dockside Brewery in Milford and Stefano Middei from Winvian Farms in Morris.

Restaurant Newcomer: Chef Jiang of Farmington, Good Old Days Pizza of Newtown, L’Ostal in Darien, Materia Ristorante in Bantam and Rosina’s in Greenwich.

People’s Choice: Dockside Brewery in Milford, Flanders Fish Market in East Lyme, HooDoo Brown BBQ in Ridgefield, Mecha Noodle Bar (five Connecticut locations) and Sayulita in Glastonbury.

Caterer of the Year: Delicacy Catering of West Hartford, DORO Catering & Events of West Hartford, Gourmet Galley Catering of Stonington, Knot Norms Catering of Norwalk and Shaken & Stirred Catered Events of New Haven.

The Restaurant of the Year award is broken into four geographical categories, each with its own winner. The overall winner, with the most votes, is chosen among the 16 nominees as the statewide Restaurant of the Year. The nominees are:

North Region (Hartford and Tolland counties): Arugula in West Hartford, Cora Cora in West Hartford, Max Downtown in Hartford and The Charles in Wethersfield.

South Region (Middlesex and New Haven counties): The Essex in Old Saybrook, Strega in Milford, Tavern on State in New Haven and Union League Café in New Haven

East Region (New London and Windham counties): Oyster Club in Mystic, Shipwright’s Daughter in Mystic, Stone Row Kitchen & Bar in Willimantic and TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge in Uncasville.

West Region (Fairfield and Litchfield counties): Elm in New Canaan, Kawa Ni in Westport, Swyft in Kent and Tony’s at the J House in Greenwich.
