Construction worker hurt when retaining wall collapses on leg

A construction worker in Worcester was injured Friday when a wall fell on him. Police say the worker was hurt when a large cement retaining wall fell and trapped his leg at a construction site on Southgate Street. The Fire Department helped to free him and he was taken to an area hospital. The incident happened one day after a worker was killed in Newton when a cement wall collapsed, trapping the worker in the rubble.
