The Container Store opens at Tuscan Village
Jan. 22—The Container Store opened its first location in New Hampshire on Saturday at the Tuscan Village in Salem.
It joined other retailers such as HomeSense, L.L. Bean, Pottery Barn and Sierra.
The 15,000-square-foot space is the Container Store's second small-format design, according to the company. The first opened in Colorado Springs.
The Container Store is known as a leading specialty retailer of organizing solutions, custom spaces, and in-home services, according to its website. The chain has three locations in Massachusetts, including Peabody, and one in Rhode Island.
The Container Store provides organizing solutions and custom closets with convenient in-home services like free custom space designs, professional organizing and installation.
According to a news release, the chain hopes to open 76 new stores by fiscal 2027 for a total of 170 locations.
