Here are the contingency plans for spring prep tournaments in Cincinnati, NKY this week

The Tri-State is expecting severe weather on Wednesday and Thursday.

So, how will this impact spring sports tournaments in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky?

Baseball

Southwest Ohio has more than a dozen baseball teams set to battle for a district championship on Wednesday or Thursday.

Here are the matchups. Contingency information will be added as it's received:

Division I (Thursday)

Springboro vs. Moeller – 5 p.m. at Centerville

  • If rained out, Springboro vs. Moeller would be moved to Friday, per Centerville Athletic Director Rob Dement.

Sycamore vs. Fairfield – 5 p.m. at Milford

  • If rained out, Sycamore vs. Fairfield would be moved to Friday at a different venue because Milford is unable to host on Friday, per Milford Athletic Director Aaron Zupka.

Mason vs. Miamisburg – 7 p.m. at Princeton

  • If rained out, Mason vs. Miamisburg will be played on Friday with a possible change in time, per Princeton Athletic Director Joe Roberts.

Lebanon vs. Butler – 5 p.m. at Beavercreek

  • If rained out, Lebanon vs. Butler will be played Friday at 5 p.m., per Beavercreek Athletic Director Brad Pompos.

Division II (Thursday)

Taylor vs. Chaminade Julienne – 5 p.m. at Miamisburg

Badin vs. Tippecanoe – 5 p.m. at Newton Local

Eaton vs. Batavia – 4 p.m. at Princeton

  • If rained out, Batavia vs. Eaton will be played on Friday with a possible change in time, per Princeton Athletic Director Joe Roberts.

Division III (Wednesday)

Springfield Northeastern vs. Summit Country Day – 5 p.m. at Kings

  • If rained out, Springfield Northeastern vs. Summit Country Day would be moved to Thursday, per Kings Athletic Director Eric Taylor.

CHCA vs. Versailles – 5 p.m. at Dixie

  • If rained out, CHCA vs. Versailles would be moved to Thursday at 5 p.m., per Dixie Athletic Director Tyler Rhodus.

Roger Bacon vs. Mechanicsburg – 3:30 p.m. at Newton Local

Benjamin Logan vs. Reading – 6:30 p.m. at Newton Local

Division IV (Wednesday)

S. Charleston Southeastern vs. Felicity-Franklin – 5 p.m. at Midland Baseball Complex

  • If rained out, the game would be moved to Thursday. If rained out again, it would be moved to Friday. If the field is still too wet, the game would be played on Saturday, per MVCA Athletic Director Matt Blandin.

Cincinnati Christian vs. Russia – 5:30 p.m. at Honaker Field

Lacrosse

Boys lacrosse (Thursday)

Mariemont vs. CHCA (Division II regional final) – 7:45 p.m. at Mariemont

  • If the game is rained out, it would be moved to Friday, per Mariemont Athletic Director Tom Nerl.

Girls lacrosse (Wednesday)

Sycamore vs. Mason (Division I regional final) – 6 p.m. at Sycamore

  • If rained out, the Sycamore and Mason game is expected to be played on Thursday night, per Sycamore Athletic Director Mark Harden.

Girls lacrosse (Thursday)

Mariemont vs. Indian Hill (Division II regional final) – 5:30 p.m. at Mariemont

  • If the game is rained out, it would be moved to Friday, per Mariemont Athletic Director Tom Nerl.

OHSAA regional track and field tournaments for all divisions are scheduled to begin on Wednesday.

Boys and girls track

The OHSAA Division I, II and III regional track and field meets begin on Wednesday. Division I is at Wayne High School, Division II is at Piqua and Division III is at Troy.

The games committee is in charge of making any decisions on rescheduling the events, per Division III tournament manager Charlie Gase.
