Contract details emerge for Steelers Patrick Peterson deal

The contract details have emerged for the agreement between the Pittsburgh Steelers and free agent cornerback Patrick Peterson.

Peterson and the Steelers have agreed to the framework of a two-year deal that will pay him a total of $14 million, according to a report by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Peterson’s contract will have $5.85 million guaranteed, less than half. Peterson’s deal is for less money and significantly less guaranteed money than the three-year, $33 million contract that Cam Sutton has agreed to with the Detroit Lions.
