DaBaby's return to touring following fallout for making homophobic comments at the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami this summer isn't happening as soon as he planned.

The rapper's been promoting his "Live Show Killa" tour in recent days, but the first show, slated for Chicago Friday, has been postponed to February.

Multiple 2021 dates are now taking place in early 2022, including a Milwaukee stop at the Miller High Life Theatre that was scheduled for this Saturday. New dates have been announced for postponed shows in Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston and other cities, but not yet for Milwaukee. For now, 2021 shows in Atlanta and Albany, New York, are still on as scheduled.

Previously purchased tickets for the Milwaukee show will be honored for a new date, and refunds are also available through the point of purchase until Dec. 23.

The Milwaukee show was actually announced in September, several weeks before the tour. It was the first headlining show the rapper had booked since the fallout.

Following his comments in July, organizers for several festivals — including Lollapalooza in Chicago, Austin City Limits in Texas, iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas and Governor's Ball in New York — removed DaBaby from their lineups. Several LGBTQ-rights organizations and major pop stars — including Madonna, Elton John and former collaborator Dua Lipa — condemned his comments.

In August, DaBaby joined a virtual, private meeting to discuss HIV education with leaders from Black AIDS Institute, Gilead Sciences COMPASS Initiative Coordinating Centers, GLAAD, National Minority AIDS Council, The Normal Anomaly Initiative, Positive Women’s Network-USA, Prevention Access Campaign, the Southern AIDS Coalition and Transinclusive Group.

In a statement, leaders from the organization said DaBaby was "genuinely engaged, apologized for the inaccurate and hurtful comments he made about people living with HIV, and received our personal stories and the truth about HIV and its impact on Black and LGBTQ communities with deep respect. … We appreciate that he openly and eagerly participated in this forum of Black people living with HIV, which provided him an opportunity to learn and to receive accurate information."
