Cool Monday morning temps expected for first day of spring

Chillin’ out in Florida.

Some areas have dropped more than 25 degrees between Saturday and Sunday. With the north breeze and all the clouds most of the day, it felt like winter.

But meteorologist George Waldenberger said we would begin warming up by the afternoon, as Monday is officially the first day of spring.

While we wait for tomorrow afternoon, we will likely get a few scattered showers Sunday night that will end very early Monday morning.

Morning temperatures will be chilly, in the upper 40s and low 50s.

But with sunshine, we’ll get close to the 70-degree mark Monday afternoon.

And we don’t stop there. 90s are possible by the end of the week.

Regarding rain, most of the workweek looks quiet, with a chance for a few showers by the weekend.
