Cooler and dry today; frost threat tonight

Cooler but dry Wednesday with temperatures that will be running below average. Plan on a mix of sun and clouds. Northwest winds will keep temperatures down today. Highs this afternoon will only reach the mid to upper 50s, which is about 10 degrees below average for the time of year.

With light winds and temperatures falling to the mid 30s early Thursday morning, areas of frost are possible.

Thursday will be the start of a big warmup. We’ll still be below average with high temperatures on Thursday, as we only get to the low 60s. However, we’re near 70° on Friday and near or into the 80s over the weekend. However, this warmup comes with rain chances. The first comes Friday afternoon and evening. Some rain will linger into early Saturday but we will find plenty of dry time over the weekend to enjoy the warmth.
