Coolers, alcohol, pets? What can you bring to Daytona 500? 8 things you should know

The sun is finally shining at the Daytona International Speedway, although not before the Xfinity Series race was rescheduled — for the second time.

Both the Daytona 500 and the United Rentals 300 were rescheduled to Monday because of rain in Daytona Beach Saturday and Sunday, making for the first-ever Monday NASCAR doubleheader at Daytona International Speedway.

Originally re-scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, rain this morning prompted race officials to re-schedule the Xfinity race to one hour after this afternoon's Daytona 500. The adjusted start time for the Xfinity Series race is now about 9 p.m.

The Daytona 500 is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Monday.
