Cooper announces genetic testing company to create 374 jobs in Wake County

San Francisco-based Invitae Corp. will expand to Morrisville and invest $114.6 million during the next decade, creating jobs with an average salary of more than $90,000.

Governor Roy Cooper announcing today genetic testing company Invitae corporation will build a testing and laboratory facility near RTP in Mooresville. The San Francisco based company's project will established advanced genetics testing labs on the East Coast. The average salary of the specialized position will reach $91,000. Invitae plans to invest more than $114 million in Mooresville over the next decade.
